Christmas is coming....
As I sit writing Christmas cards and hoping not to forget anyone ... can't find my trusty Christmas Book AGAIN - the really useful one with the names of everyones kids, likes, dislikes etc that I have been using for many years (where do these things go?!) I wonder if anyone has the same panic as me? Don't upset anyone at this time of year ... you know, send the avid cat loving girlfriend the card with dogs on, make sure you get the names of the cousin's kids right?? I rush to send my parcels and my cards as many of my family are scattered around the country and I wonder if you too are panicking like me? Are there stress filled houses all over the country with people shouting names at each other in an attempt to remember distant relatives. Thank goodness for the relaxing skills of knitting and crocheting because without them many people would be screwed up to the eyeballs. I can't wait to install myself on the sofa and just knit, watch rubbish films and eat chocolate with my nearest and dearest. You never know I might make something for me ... having been in this industry for years people are always surprised that I NEVER wear knits! I'm usually to be found making for someone else or for the shop to showcase lovely new yarns. So I'm rarely to be found encased in yarn!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my lovely customers new and old for their support this year and wish everyone a warm and cosy festive season. and hope that you can find time to knit/crochet something squishy for yourselves. Wishing you all health, happiness and loads of yarn!!
